Business Development Manager - Second Charge Mortgages (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Business Development Manager (Remote) to join our dynamic team at Tandem Money Limited. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving growth and building relationships within the second-charge mortgage sector. Your mission will be to educate mortgage brokers about our innovative products and ensure they become the preferred choice for clients seeking alternative lending solutions.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with mortgage brokers and financial advisors.
• Deliver engaging presentations and training sessions to educate intermediaries on our second-charge mortgage offerings.
• Manage a robust pipeline of opportunities, providing consultative support to brokers navigating complex applications.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet or exceed lending targets.
• Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal lending policies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in B2B sales or business development within the mortgage or financial services sector.
• Strong negotiation skills and confidence in public speaking.
• A full UK driving license is essential due to travel requirements.
• Ability to build rapport quickly with clients and stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Understanding of second charge/secured loans and the wider mortgage market.
• CeMAP qualification or equivalent is highly desirable.
