Bridge Software Engineer - Remote Options Available

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Bridge Software Engineer to join our innovative team at Writerity, Inc. This role offers the flexibility of remote work while being part of a dynamic Japanese IT company based in North Macedonia. As a Bridge Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in facilitating communication between local teams and Japanese clients, ensuring that projects run smoothly and efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Manage projects by estimating schedules, tracking progress, and adjusting timelines as necessary.
• Oversee ticket management, including progress tracking, specification translation, and version control.
• Engage in technical responsibilities such as conducting vulnerability checks with Composer and npm.
• Perform test verification, debugging, and writing simple code using control statements and access modifiers.
• Work with databases, SQL, and APIs for effective database management and queries.
• Handle network security, load balancing, and credential management to ensure system integrity.
• Monitor system health using tools like Mackerel and CloudWatch.
• Train and mentor team members, fostering cultural integration and evaluating performance.

Requirements

• Conversational English proficiency (TOEIC 650+ or equivalent).
• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to bridge communication between overseas staff and Japanese clients.
• Business-level Japanese proficiency and a deep understanding of Japanese business culture.
• Experience in software development is preferred.
• Leadership or management experience is a plus.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to take on challenges.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS, Docker, CircleCI, GitHub, and other relevant tools.
• Familiarity with network security protocols and practices.
