Azure Data Scientist - Remote Position

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Scientist to join our team in a remote capacity. As an Azure Data Scientist, you will design and implement advanced data science solutions using Microsoft Azure. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for leveraging data to drive actionable insights and predictive models.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models using Azure Machine Learning services.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data science solutions into products and services.
  • Optimize and fine-tune models for performance, accuracy, and scalability on Azure.
  • Utilize Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, and other Azure tools for data preparation and analysis.
  • Conduct experiments to test and validate model hypotheses.
  • Document methodologies, processes, and results for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and Azure technologies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, with a focus on Azure cloud services.
  • Expertise in Azure Machine Learning, Azure Databricks, and other Azure data services.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, and data mining techniques.
  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and data pipelines on Azure.
  • Proficiency in version control systems (Git) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with MLOps practices and model deployment on cloud platforms is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications in Azure and data science (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate) are a plus.
