Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team at Entain India, where you will play a crucial role in shaping the infrastructure landscape. This Senior Infrastructure Engineer remote position allows you to work from anywhere while contributing to innovative technology solutions that support our mission in the global sports and gaming sector.

What You'll Do

• Execute a range of activities using Automation, Enterprise Systems Management (ESM), and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) technologies.
• Implement high-level designs for stable network and infrastructure environments that meet compliance and security standards.
• Provide technical knowledge and expertise to resolve issues and support project managers and technical experts.
• Collaborate with application development, enterprise architecture, and cyber security teams to develop a compelling product roadmap.
• Deliver day-to-day support to internal tools and system health, managing customer support contracts effectively.
• Document processes and assessments required for both individual and project work.
• Continuously develop and share knowledge on emerging trends in infrastructure engineering.
• Support the implementation of improvements in working processes through data analysis of network and infrastructure performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in core networking.
• Fluent in English (minimum B1 level) is a prerequisite.
• Strong foundational knowledge in Network Topology & TCP/IP, DNS, Routing & Switching (Cisco/Juniper), and Firewalls (FortiGate/Palo Alto).
• Experience with HAProxy / F5 in production environments and DDoS Mitigation.
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS/GCP) and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Infrastructure automation tools (Ansible preferred).
• Knowledge of REST APIs for configuration management.
• Experience in network monitoring tools.
