AI-First UX/​UI Designer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We're hiring an AI-First UX/UI Designer to join our innovative team at Puffy. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere in the world while mastering the integration of generative AI into e-commerce design workflows. As an AI-First UX/UI Designer, you'll leverage advanced generative AI tools to create exceptional user experiences that drive real business outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Embed an AI-first methodology into daily design execution, utilizing tools like Figma AI, Nano Banana, Vertex AI, and Midjourney.
• Research, test, and integrate new AI design tools to keep our creative process at the industry's cutting edge.
• Design systems that impact every customer touchpoint, including product pages, checkout flows, and personalization modules.
• Collaborate with Growth and Engineering teams to execute experiments and translate data-driven insights into tangible design improvements.
• Showcase your work through a portfolio that highlights business results, including conversion metrics and A/B test outcomes.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in web design, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
• A strong portfolio showcasing shipped product work with a clear connection to business metrics.
• Expert proficiency in Figma, including components, variables, and Dev Mode.
• Hands-on experience with modern GenAI design tools in a professional workflow.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate design rationale and present research on new tools.

Nice to Have

• Experience designing chat or guided-selling flows.
• Comfort collaborating on experiments (A/B testing, multivariate).
• Working knowledge of WCAG 2.2 and foundational SEO principles for e-commerce.
