Account Manager - Infrastructure for Blockchain Ecosystem

Join us as an Account Manager for Infrastructure at Stellar Development Foundation (SDF), where you will play a pivotal role in managing and growing our diverse infrastructure partnerships. As an Account Manager remote, you will help redefine finance by harnessing the power of blockchain technology to ensure global financial access. What You'll Do
- Manage a portfolio of infrastructure partnerships across RPC node providers, validators, indexers, analytics providers, and compliance/risk data vendors.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and relationship owner for each partner, ensuring their needs are met and their capabilities are fully understood.
- Conduct regular partner reviews to assess performance, identify gaps, and propose actionable insights to internal teams including engineering and product.
- Drive the expansion of partner relationships by identifying new use cases and advocating for Stellar integrations.
- Monitor the health of the infrastructure ecosystem, proactively flagging risks and working with partners to resolve them.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with SDF's product, engineering, and developer relations teams to align partner capabilities with the evolving needs of builders on the Stellar network.
- Support onboarding of new infrastructure partners, including scoping integration requirements and tracking progress through to launch.
- Maintain accurate records of partner status and communications in CRM systems; provide regular reporting to BD leadership on portfolio health.
Requirements
- 3-6 years of experience in account management, partnerships, or business development in a technology, fintech, or blockchain/Web3 environment.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent relationships with a track record of expanding accounts.
- Working knowledge of blockchain infrastructure concepts, including validators, RPC nodes, and on-chain data.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to translate technical topics for non-technical audiences.
- Experience working cross-functionally, coordinating between technical and commercial teams.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and a disciplined approach to documentation.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with the Stellar network and its ecosystem participants.
- Experience with infrastructure grant programs or ecosystem funding.
- Background in compliance and risk analytics, KYC/AML tooling.
- Prior experience with a nonprofit or open-source foundation.
- Knowledge of developer tooling ecosystems and how they intersect with infrastructure partnerships.
