Senior Security Practitioner - Remote Cybersecurity Role

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Security Practitioner to join our dynamic team at ClickHouse. This remote position offers the opportunity to work with one of the most innovative cloud companies recognized on the 2025 Forbes Cloud 100 list. As a key member of our Security Team, you will drive the adoption of modern security processes and tooling, focusing on incident response and detection capabilities.

What You'll Do

• Develop processes, tooling, and automation to scale incident management response and mitigate risks to the business.
• Collaborate with other security functions, engineering, product, and business operations to identify appropriate detection use cases and automation.
• Apply a threat modeling-centric approach to incident detection and response.
• Maintain our security logging platform and stay updated with the latest threats and attack vectors.
• Handle information security events and incidents across ClickHouse products and services.

Requirements

• Background in product security, red teaming, penetration testing, or threat modeling, combined with incident detection and response experience.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with one or more cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience securing large-scale customer-facing cloud infrastructures.
• Significant development and automation experience, preferably with Golang and Python.

Nice to Have

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
• Previous contributions to open source projects.
• Security or cloud-related certifications (AWS, GCP, Azure).
