About the Role

We are looking for a Vice President of Human Resources - Remote to join livingHR, a remote-first professional services agency dedicated to enhancing the workplace experience. In this role, you will serve as the company’s senior HR leader, helping to strengthen the next phase of our people infrastructure. You will be a trusted advisor to the CEO and leadership team on people strategy, ensuring that our human-centric, future-of-work solutions continue to thrive.

What You'll Do

  • Provide guidance on talent development and performance management frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage performance management processes and talent development initiatives.
  • Oversee recruiting operations and ensure effective onboarding experiences.
  • Reinforce a high-performance culture aligned with company values.
  • Support company initiatives that strengthen collaboration across a remote workforce.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on people management issues.
  • Act as a strategic sounding board for complex organizational issues.
  • Maintain and improve HR policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
  • Experience in private equity-backed portfolio companies or high-growth tech environments.
  • Proven experience in building HR infrastructure in scaling organizations.
  • Experience in employment law, compliance, and HR operations.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing employee relations.
  • Experience working with senior leadership in growth-oriented environments.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in remote workforce management.
  • Strong understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
  • Proficiency in HR technology platforms.
