UI/​UX Designer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are looking for a talented UI/UX Designer - Remote to join our Application Modernization team at Banyan Software. This is an exciting opportunity to redesign and modernize legacy enterprise applications, utilizing cutting-edge AI-assisted tools for rapid concepting and iteration. You will collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to drive user experience redesigns of outdated legacy system interfaces, ensuring that our solutions are both responsive and accessible.

What You'll Do

• Redesign and modernize legacy enterprise applications to enhance user experience.
• Utilize AI-assisted design tools to create rapid prototypes and iterate on designs.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure alignment on design goals.
• Drive the user experience redesign of outdated legacy system interfaces.
• Develop and maintain responsive and accessible design systems.
• Participate in rapid iteration cycles, incorporating user feedback to refine designs.
• Showcase your strong portfolio demonstrating successful redesigns and modernization projects.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and present design concepts.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of progressive experience in UI or UX design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing modernization projects and successful redesigns.
• Expert fluency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted design tools.
• Strong understanding of front-end frameworks.
• Deep understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience in working with Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with user research and usability testing.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS for better collaboration with developers.
