Freelance ELA Assessment Reviewer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

IXL Learning is seeking a Freelance ELA Assessment Reviewer to join our team remotely. As a leading EdTech company, we reach millions of learners globally, and this role allows you to contribute to the development of educational assessments that make a difference. You will have the flexibility to work from home, reviewing content for various grade levels.

What You'll Do

• Review achievement level descriptors to ensure alignment with educational standards for specified grade levels.
• Evaluate assessment items for their effectiveness in measuring student performance accurately.
• Provide feedback on content quality and appropriateness for the target audience.
• Collaborate with other educators and content developers to enhance assessment materials.
• Manage your time effectively to complete reviews within the estimated 7-8 hours per grade level.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is required.
• Master's degree with teaching certification is a plus.
• At least 5 years of ELA teaching experience.
• Prior experience in writing or reviewing large-scale assessments is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to educational excellence.
