Human Resources Generalist - Remote Position at Serve Robotics

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources Generalist to join Serve Robotics in a fully remote capacity. As a Human Resources Generalist, you will play a vital role in managing various HR processes and functions that support our innovative team focused on transforming urban logistics through robotics. This Human Resources Generalist remote position is an exciting opportunity to work with a company that leverages cutting-edge technology to enhance urban living.

What You'll Do

• Manage the full onboarding process from offer acceptance to New Hire Orientation.
• Oversee the initiation and processing of immigration-related cases for foreign nationals.
• Handle new hire paperwork and verifications, including E-Verify and I-9 compliance.
• Maintain accurate HR billing and payments in collaboration with the Finance team.
• Complete offboarding tasks in partnership with HR Business Partners and HR Leadership.
• Maintain personnel data and files within our HRIS (Rippling).
• Order and distribute SWAG items and employee gifts to enhance team culture.
• Answer HR-related inquiries from employees to ensure a supportive work environment.
• Maintain the internal HR Intranet Notion page to keep resources accessible.
• Assist with annual HR initiatives, including performance reviews and employee engagement activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of general HR experience, ideally in a tech-focused environment.
• Experience leading or facilitating content in virtual group settings.
• Strong technical skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to interact effectively with diverse personality types.
• Knowledge of federal and California employment law.
• Proven interpersonal skills and a strategic mindset.
• Action-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the robotics or technology sector.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems beyond Rippling.
• Certification in HR (PHR, SPHR, etc.).
