Technology Architect /​ Lead Developer - Digital Transformation

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Architect / Lead Developer to join our team in a remote capacity. This role is pivotal in driving digital transformation initiatives, leveraging your extensive experience with IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation (CP4BA), IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW/BPM), and REST API integrations. You will play a critical role in managing complex enterprise projects, ensuring successful outcomes for our clients.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design, development, and architecture of enterprise automation solutions using IBM CP4BA and IBM BAW/BPM.
• Build and enhance workflow-driven business applications and content-centric solutions using ECM / IBM FileNet Content Manager.
• Design and implement REST API–based integrations with internal and external systems.
• Develop AI-assisted capabilities using watsonx.ai Studio, including document classification, extraction, summarization, and conversational experiences.
• Apply cloud-native development practices on OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, DevOps, security/IAM, and QA teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, enterprise security standards, and responsible AI principles.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to development teams.

Requirements

• 8 to 14 years of overall IT experience with a strong enterprise application development background.
• Hands-on experience with IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation (CP4BA).
• Strong expertise in IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW/BPM).
• Experience with REST API design and system integrations.
• Hands-on experience with ECM / IBM FileNet Content Manager.
• Exposure to cloud-native platforms such as OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of the banking and financial services domain.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience using watsonx.ai Studio for AI-assisted automation use cases.
• IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation certification.
• Experience designing end-to-end workflow, content, and AI-driven solutions.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise security integrations.

What We Offer

• Annual Salary Range: $83,600 – $129,500 based on experience and overall qualifications.
