About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Writer & Federal Opportunity Pipeline Analyst - Remote to join our dynamic team at Sterile Services Co. (SSC). This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of a federal contractor that is actively expanding its presence across multiple agencies. As a Technical Writer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our proposal development capabilities and ensuring high-quality submissions for federal opportunities.

What You'll Do

• Lead proposal development for federal opportunities, ensuring compliance with federal solicitations (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs).
• Analyze requirements and develop compliant technical proposals that meet the needs of our federal clients.
• Create compliance matrices and coordinate with subject matter experts to gather necessary information.
• Manage the full technical writing workflow from draft to submission, ensuring timely delivery of proposals.
• Monitor federal procurement platforms for relevant opportunities, maintaining an organized pipeline of key details for leadership.
• Collaborate effectively with company leadership to shape SSC’s proposal development strategy.
• Utilize strong writing, editing, and document organization skills to produce high-quality proposals.
• Contribute to new business pursuits and help drive the company’s growth in the federal marketplace.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in federal proposal development, with a proven track record of success.
• Experience responding to federal solicitations and understanding of federal procurement processes.
• Strong writing, editing, and document organization skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a proposal-driven environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly in a remote work setting.

Nice to Have

• Experience with federal socio-economic certifications.
• Familiarity with various federal agencies and their procurement processes.
• Previous experience in a technical writing role within a professional services firm.
