We are seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer - Remote to join our innovative team at Seed. As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will play a crucial role in translating complex data into actionable strategies, contributing to our mission of advancing microbiome science.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain high-impact analytics and dbt pipelines in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Utilize strong SQL skills to manage and analyze large datasets, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Implement data modeling best practices, including star schemas and dimensional modeling, to optimize data accessibility.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to influence decision-making and drive business outcomes through data-driven insights.
• Design and conduct experiments, statistical analyses, and A/B testing to validate hypotheses and inform product development.
• Communicate complex data concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering a data-driven culture.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in analytics, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 5-7+ years of experience in data analytics or analytics engineering roles.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and dbt data modeling best practices.
• Experience with modern data stacks, including Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, and Airflow.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-impact analytics in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with a passion for making data accessible and actionable.
• Experience in e-commerce, healthtech, or consumer health is a plus.
• Hands-on operator with the ability to execute and guide others in analytics projects.

Nice to Have

• Proficiency in visualization and BI platforms such as Looker or Tableau.
• Experience with experimentation design and statistical analysis.
