Technical Product Developer - Fashion Industry (Remote)

About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Product Developer to join our dynamic team at Daniels. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to shape high-quality fashion collections. You will be responsible for the technical evaluation of samples regarding fit, processing, and dimensional accuracy, ensuring the highest standards of production quality.

What You'll Do

• Conduct technical assessments of samples, focusing on fit and quality.
• Organize and carry out fittings, collaborating closely with production partners to clarify technical details.
• Coordinate communication between design, purchasing, production sites, and suppliers for seamless technical implementation of collections.
• Oversee the technical journey of the collection from design concept to production approval, including feasibility and quality checks.
• Utilize your expertise in pattern making and fit adjustments to enhance product quality.
• Work with technical product data and maintain strong knowledge of materials.
• Foster a collaborative team environment, demonstrating strong communication skills.
• Show initiative and responsibility in your work, ensuring a goal-oriented approach.

Requirements

• Completed studies in textile and clothing technology, fashion management, or a completed textile vocational training.
• 2-3 years of professional experience in technical product management.
• Solid knowledge of pattern making and fit, with an understanding of grading, size charts, fittings, and fit optimizations.
• Excellent material knowledge and experience handling technical product data.
• Strong teamwork and cooperation skills, with excellent communication abilities.
• High initiative and commitment, with a strong sense of responsibility and a goal-oriented work style.
• Very good English skills, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in MS Office applications and digital tools.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the fashion industry, particularly in women's and men's segments.
• Familiarity with online retail and e-commerce platforms.
