Technical Onboarding & Engagement Manager - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Onboarding & Engagement Manager to join our team at Algolia. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to lead customer implementations and ensure a seamless onboarding experience for our clients. Your role will be crucial in helping customers achieve long-term value from their investment in our platform.

What You'll Do

• Lead the end-to-end management of multiple complex customer onboarding projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and Solution Engineers to validate project scope and success criteria.
• Define AI Search requirements and create detailed project plans in partnership with Professional Services teams.
• Act as the primary point of contact for technical engagement management, driving day-to-day execution and fostering a high-performing culture.
• Manage project governance, including milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and budget expectations.
• Communicate project health and progress clearly to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Proactively identify risks and implement contingency plans to protect project timelines.
• Facilitate smooth transitions to Customer Success Managers post-launch, ensuring effective knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with search, data, and AI technologies.
• 5+ years in customer-facing Technical Engagement Management roles, preferably in a SaaS environment.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Scrum, or Kanban.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional fluency in a second European language is a plus.

Nice To Have

• Project Management or Agile Certification (PMP, SAFe, Six Sigma).
• Technical degree in computer science or related field.
• Experience with project management tools like Jira, Smartsheet, or Asana.
