Technical Lead /​ Manager, UI Engineering - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Technical Lead / Manager, UI Engineering to join our team at Netskope. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to lead the development of user interfaces that enhance the Netskope platform, which is at the forefront of cloud security. As a Technical Lead / Manager, UI Engineering, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience for our customers while working with cutting-edge technologies.

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage a high-performing UI engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Participate in architecture and technical design discussions to drive product direction and strategy.
• Conduct code reviews and optimize design while troubleshooting issues to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Provide technical leadership for the Netskope UI and API Gateway, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Collaborate across teams to align on a shared roadmap and streamline feature delivery.
• Refine existing processes and develop new ones to enhance team efficiency.
• Communicate effectively across functional teams to drive engineering initiatives and project ownership.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience developing web UIs and 5+ years in technical leadership or management roles.
• Hands-on experience with Angular, React, or similar frameworks for building web UI applications.
• Proven track record of collaborating across teams to deliver world-class UI applications.
• Experience with Node.js and Express; knowledge of NestJS is a plus.
• Familiarity with secure web development practices and cloud technologies.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A BSCS or equivalent degree is required; an MSCS or equivalent is strongly preferred.
