What You'll Do

• Prepare federal and multi-state income tax returns for various entities.
• Complete projects within timeline and budget guidelines.
• Utilize firm tax preparation software effectively.
• Perform self-reviews of your work to ensure accuracy.
• Conduct tax technical research as assigned to enhance your knowledge.
• Build strong relationships with firm professionals to foster collaboration.
• Participate in training and firm activities to enhance your learning experience.
• Work on professional development with your buddy and performance manager.

Requirements

• Available to work 40 hours a week during the internship period.
• Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or taxation in progress.
• Strong technical aptitude and communication skills.
• Leadership skills with strong judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Able to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and initiative on projects.
• Team player mentality with a positive attitude.

Nice to Have

• Previous internship experience in tax or accounting.
• Familiarity with tax preparation software.
• Interest in pursuing a CPA or similar certification.
