General Ledger Associate - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a talented General Ledger Associate to join our dynamic team at Orifarm. This General Ledger Associate remote position will involve maintaining the general ledger, performing reconciliations, and supporting closing activities while assisting in the preparation of financial information for both internal and external stakeholders.

What You'll Do

• Execute recurring and non-recurring journal entries, including accruals and provisions.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve differences efficiently.
• Adjust trial balances and manage intercompany balances, including booking reimbursements and general reconciliations.
• Update inventory adjustments and cost prices accurately.
• Support internal and external audits as needed.
• Manage and maintain fixed assets effectively.
• Handle VAT and transactional tax accounting/reporting, including other external reporting such as Intrastat and/or GUS.
• Provide support to Business Finance and internal stakeholders in general.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy or a related field.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in General Ledger or finance operations.
• Experience in multinational, multi-site operations or manufacturing is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and account reconciliation.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic accounting knowledge and understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with internal teams and external vendors.
• Familiarity with SAP and AX is beneficial but not mandatory.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Polish accountancy.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards.
• Numerical proficiency for accurate calculations and financial analyses.
