About the Role

We are seeking a Senior PHP Microservice Developer (remote) to join our team at eduki. This role is pivotal in enhancing our platform that supports over 3 million teachers globally, allowing them to access high-quality teaching materials. As a Senior PHP Microservice Developer, you will contribute to our mission of empowering educators to deliver exceptional education.

What You'll Do

• Develop Microservices using PHP to implement specific functionalities that enhance our platform.
• Configure and integrate Microservices into our existing infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation.
• Participate in architectural discussions and decision-making processes to shape the future of our platform.
• Collaborate with an international team to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

Requirements

• Proven experience in developing Microservices, particularly using PHP 8+.
• Strong proficiency in Docker, SQL, and Kubernetes.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate high reliability in your work.
• Comfortable communicating in English within an international team.
• Must be registered as a sole proprietor (FOP) and reside in Ukraine due to legal restrictions.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud services and serverless architectures.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools.
