We are seeking a talented Systems Engineer - Level 2 or Level 3 remote to join our innovative team at Northrop Grumman. What You'll Do

  • Perform system integration, verification, and validation for total systems, ensuring the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions.
  • Maintain existing operations procedures and develop new procedures as required, incorporating lessons learned from real-time performance.
  • Collaborate with multiple functional engineering groups to synthesize requirements and integrate new technologies into high-level designs.
  • Document and voice process improvements and new technologies to be considered for implementation.
  • Participate and support in Engineering Development, Production, and Deployment Milestones, both internally and externally.

Requirements

  • Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance at the time of application.
  • For Level 2: 2 years of relevant experience with a completed Bachelor's degree in STEM fields; for Level 3: 5 years of relevant experience with a completed Bachelor's degree or 3 years with a Master's degree.
  • Experience with requirements engineering or Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Previous work as a systems engineer, system integrator, or software engineer.

Nice to Have

  • Experience using Jira and Confluence for collaboration.
  • Experience using DOORs and/or Cameo for requirements management.
  • Experience creating interface description documents.
