About the Role

As a Summer Camp Monitor, you will oversee and engage in recreational and educational activities for children and adolescents during their time at camp. What You'll Do

• Supervise daily activities such as games, sports, arts and crafts, excursions, and outdoor activities.
• Ensure the safety of children at all times, following established protocols and being prepared to respond to emergencies.
• Provide emotional support to campers, helping them adapt to the camp environment and resolve conflicts.
• Facilitate learning through educational activities and workshops that promote personal development and social skills.
• Serve as a role model, demonstrating positive behaviors and values such as teamwork, respect, and responsibility.
• Communicate with parents about campers' progress and well-being, addressing any questions or concerns.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as participant registration, material distribution, and report preparation.
• Collaborate with other monitors and camp staff to ensure smooth operation of activities and maintain a positive and safe environment.
• Be prepared to solve unforeseen problems that may arise during camp, whether related to logistics, safety, or participant relationships.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 20 years.
• Minimum English level of B2.
• Certification as a leisure monitor.
• Criminal record check for sexual offenses.
• Experience in teaching, leisure education, or sports activities with children and youth.

Nice to Have
