Student Support Assistant - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Student Support Assistant to join our team remotely. In this role, you will provide essential support to students during their lunch breaks at Freiburg secondary schools. This Student Support Assistant position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about education and want to make a positive impact on young learners' lives.

What You'll Do

• Assist students during lunchtime, ensuring they adhere to cafeteria rules.
• Engage in recreational activities, offering movement and play opportunities.
• Supervise students during study time, providing guidance and support.
• Collaborate with school staff to enhance the overall student experience.
• Participate in training sessions to improve your skills as a Student Support Assistant.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a student, preferably in education or a related field.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for working with young people.
• Ability to work part-time during school hours, specifically from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
• Experience in childcare or education is a plus but not mandatory.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing training and development.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a support role within an educational setting.
• Knowledge of child development principles.
• First aid certification.
