Staff Embedded Software Engineer - Remote Opportunities

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, document, integrate, test, and debug software for embedded and real-time systems.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including Systems Engineering, Digital Engineering, and Hardware.
• Analyze system capabilities to resolve issues related to program intent and output requirements.
• Utilize your expertise in C++ programming to develop complex real-time applications.
• Lead the integration of low-level firmware and software in multi-threaded environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with 10 years; or a PhD with 8 years.
• Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance required at the time of application.
• Expertise in C++ programming and experience with Xilinx platforms.
• Proficient in Object-Oriented programming and all areas of the formal software lifecycle.
• Experience in developing and debugging embedded real-time systems.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Software Defined Radios.
• Familiarity with Xilinx tools (Vitis, Vivado).
• Experience leading a software team.
