About the Role

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Sous Chef remote position at Andrew Brownsword Hotels. Located in the stunning Bath Priory, this role offers a chance to work in a beautiful Georgian house surrounded by award-winning gardens. As a Sous Chef, you will collaborate with our Executive Head Chef to create exquisite dishes that delight our guests. This position is perfect for someone with experience in a similar environment who is ready to take their culinary skills to the next level.

What You'll Do

• Assist the Executive Head Chef in managing a busy kitchen environment.
• Create exciting and delicious dishes using the finest ingredients.
• Ensure compliance with allergen training and safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, including Junior Sous, CDPs, KPs, and Commis chefs.
• Manage kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef.
• Contribute to the writing of the allergen matrix for guest safety.
• Oversee inventory management and ordering through Procure Wizard.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and allergen management.
• Excellent knife skills and culinary techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and demands.
