Software Engineer, AI (JavaScript) - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer, AI (JavaScript) remote to join our innovative team at G2i. In this role, you will help train large-language models (LLMs) to write production-grade code across various programming languages. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the future of AI and software development.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate and rank multiple code snippets, providing clear explanations for your choices.
• Repair and refactor AI-generated code, ensuring correctness, efficiency, and adherence to style guidelines.
• Inject feedback into the Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback (RLHF) pipeline, ensuring smooth operation.
• Collaborate with other engineers to enhance the model's ability to propose, critique, and improve code.
• Work in an asynchronous environment, demonstrating extreme attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, particularly in JavaScript.
• Strong instincts for code review, with the ability to identify logic errors, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities.
• Excellent written communication skills, with a focus on explaining technical concepts clearly.
• Ability to thrive in a low-oversight environment and enjoy reading documentation and language specifications.
• No prior RLHF or AI training experience is required; we will teach you the necessary skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Rust and constraint programming.
