Software Developer - Fusion 360 Manufacturing Data Model
About the Role
We are looking for a Software Developer to join the Fusion 360 Manufacturing Data Model (MFGDM) team in Canada. This Software Developer remote position is pivotal in developing the foundation of the Manufacturing Cloud and is core to the Data Framework for Autodesk's flagship product, Fusion 360. Our objective is to build MFGDM to enable concurrency, integration, automation, and collaboration throughout the entire product lifecycle, empowering customers to design and manufacture better products faster.
What You'll Do
- Work within a Scrum team of about 7-8 developers to code, design, and test major MFGDM modules and services.
- Develop software tools to facilitate high-quality service and component development, including resiliency analysis, performance monitoring, and automation testing.
- Produce high-quality code while applying best practices such as testing and documentation.
- Collaborate with Scrum team members to meet customer and project requirements defined by the Product Owner or Project Manager.
- Engage closely with other Scrum teams located in Canada and globally to ensure project alignment and success.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- At least 2 years of software development experience in commercialized products or systems.
- Strong understanding of software development principles, practices, and methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a team environment.
Nice to Have
- Willingness to take on challenges and step outside of your comfort zone for growth.
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Experience with AWS or a similar cloud platform like Azure is a significant advantage.
- Good skills in C++ or Java are also a strong plus.
