About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SMB Account Executive to join our team at PhillyTech.Co. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to own the full sales cycle and significantly impact our revenue growth. As the first SMB Account Executive, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment, operating without a playbook and taking full ownership of your sales strategy.

What You'll Do

  • Own the complete sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals across various channels including inbound, referral, event-driven, and outbound opportunities.
  • Conduct discovery calls and product demonstrations, leveraging your knowledge of affiliate and partnership marketing to educate prospects.
  • Sell to founders, growth leaders, and marketing teams who are building or optimizing their affiliate programs.
  • Build compelling business cases that demonstrate how our platform can drive partner revenue outcomes and enhance performance.
  • Negotiate and close deals while managing your sales pipeline, forecasting, and ensuring follow-through on commitments.
  • Collaborate closely with onboarding, product, and operations teams to ensure a seamless transition for new customers.
  • Provide structured insights from sales conversations to enhance our marketing and product strategies.
  • Represent PhillyTech.Co confidently in all interactions, aligning with our company values.

Requirements

  • 2-5+ years of full-cycle sales experience in SMB or mid-market environments, specifically within MarTech or marketing services.
  • Direct experience with partnership and affiliate marketing as a revenue channel is essential.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to simplify complex MarTech products into clear value propositions for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience leading discovery calls and product demos.
  • Self-motivated and competitive, with a builder mentality and the ability to adapt quickly in a startup environment.
  • Comfortable operating in a high-pressure, fast-changing setting.

Nice to Have

  • Experience selling to growth, marketing, or partnership teams, provided it is paired with relevant affiliate or partnership knowledge.
