About the Role

What You'll Do

• Work remotely as part of the Site Reliability Engineering team to enhance system reliability.
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve system efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Continuously optimize system uptime and performance through proactive monitoring.
• Conduct capacity planning and scaling of infrastructure to meet growing demands.
• Monitor system performance and respond to incidents effectively.
• Perform root cause analysis after incidents to prevent future occurrences.
• Communicate effectively in both English and German to collaborate with various teams.
• Promote automation to improve productivity and streamline operations.

Requirements

• Fluency in English and German is a must.
• 3+ years of experience in IT operations, specifically in a Site Reliability Engineer role.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD tools is essential.
• Excellent problem-solving and self-organization abilities.
• Knowledge of cloud services, preferably Google Cloud.
• Experience with PHP is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with monitoring tools and incident management.
• Experience in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
