About the Role

We're hiring a Customer Service HRS Specialist to join our team at CareOregon. This remote position serves as the initial point of contact for members, providers, and external groups, handling a variety of inquiries related to Health-Related Services (HRS). As a Customer Service HRS Specialist, you'll play a critical role in supporting improved healthcare delivery and enhancing overall community health outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the initial point of contact for inquiries related to Health-Related Services.
  • Provide advanced customer service via phone, email, and text.
  • Assist members with applications and status inquiries.
  • Document all activities and communications using online tracking systems.
  • Collaborate with teams to resolve customer inquiries effectively.
  • Adhere to HIPAA requirements and organizational standards.
  • Participate in cross-departmental workgroups to enhance service delivery.
  • Perform administrative tasks efficiently to support team operations.
  • Research and resolve inquiries related to Health-Related Services.
  • Ensure clear communication and timely responses to all inquiries.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of customer service experience, including 2 years in healthcare.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a call center environment.
  • Knowledge of Oregon Administrative Rules and healthcare regulations.
  • Strong computer and data analysis skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Proficient in managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • Basic mathematical skills for data analysis.
  • Ability to learn and apply new information quickly.
  • Willingness to accept feedback and manage stress effectively.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with online tracking systems.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance.
  • Background in health services administration.
