About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Service Chief for Air Support to lead the police air support operations in Zurich, Switzerland. As the Service Chief for Air Support, you will oversee the coordination and operational readiness of police helicopter missions while also developing drone capabilities. What You'll Do

• Lead the air support service in personnel, technical, and administrative matters.
• Coordinate the operational readiness of police air support.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for all deployed resources.
• Administer the police helicopter operations effectively.
• Manage a cost center with budgetary responsibilities.
• Ensure and coordinate the necessary training and development for staff.
• Conceptualize and further develop the drone competence center.

Requirements

• Police personnel with several years of professional and leadership experience.
• Experience with project and concept work.
• Knowledge in aviation is an advantage.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Innovative mindset and openness to new ideas.
• Ability to approach challenges pragmatically.
• Editorial skills and persuasive presentation abilities.
• Interest in acquiring specialized knowledge and further development.
• Foreign language skills, particularly in English, are advantageous.
