About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Serology Technician to join our team remotely. As a Serology Technician remote, you will play a crucial role in performing manual and automated testing procedures to support our diagnostic efforts. Your expertise will contribute to the accuracy and reliability of patient results, ensuring high-quality healthcare delivery.

What You'll Do

  • Perform manual Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) and automated ELISA tests using DSX Automated Processor on patient serum samples.
  • Conduct Western Blot tests using the BeeBlot Machine.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment, including DSX, Automated Washer, and Absorbance Detector.
  • Assist in troubleshooting discrepancies and interpreting results of ELISA and Western Blot tests.
  • Process serum separation as needed and prepare in-house ELISA plates.
  • Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and maintain customer privacy at all times.
  • Demonstrate initiative in diagnosing and resolving problems proactively.
  • Maintain accuracy and quality in all laboratory activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related science field.
  • Completion of a 9-month Clinical Laboratory Serology Technician training program.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and patients.
  • Ability to maintain a productive work ethic and demonstrate accountability for work responsibilities.

  • Experience with laboratory equipment and procedures.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance protocols in a clinical setting.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations in laboratory environments.
