Serology Technician - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Serology Technician to join our team remotely. As a Serology Technician remote, you will play a crucial role in performing manual and automated testing procedures to support our diagnostic efforts. Your expertise will contribute to the accuracy and reliability of patient results, ensuring high-quality healthcare delivery.
What You'll Do
- Perform manual Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) and automated ELISA tests using DSX Automated Processor on patient serum samples.
- Conduct Western Blot tests using the BeeBlot Machine.
- Perform preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment, including DSX, Automated Washer, and Absorbance Detector.
- Assist in troubleshooting discrepancies and interpreting results of ELISA and Western Blot tests.
- Process serum separation as needed and prepare in-house ELISA plates.
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and maintain customer privacy at all times.
- Demonstrate initiative in diagnosing and resolving problems proactively.
- Maintain accuracy and quality in all laboratory activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related science field.
- Completion of a 9-month Clinical Laboratory Serology Technician training program.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and patients.
- Ability to maintain a productive work ethic and demonstrate accountability for work responsibilities.

- Experience with laboratory equipment and procedures.
- Familiarity with quality assurance protocols in a clinical setting.
