Production Operator - Remote Opportunities at Cargill

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join our team at Cargill. This Production Operator remote position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring the quality and safety of our products. As a key player in our Ag & Trading division, you will be instrumental in connecting producers and users of grains and oilseeds worldwide.

What You'll Do

• Operate and monitor various production and utility systems, both on-site and remotely.
• Resolve first-line production issues independently and escalate when necessary.
• Maximize throughput and produce quality products while adhering to food safety and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain production and quality records both manually and electronically.
• Operate powered mobile equipment, including forklifts and pallet trucks.
• Understand and comply with all safety policies and procedures, including lockout/tagout for equipment.
• Take and analyze samples to ensure quality standards are met.
• Report mechanical and/or electrical deviations in processes via SAP.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum qualifications may apply; a background in production or manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience in a similar role as a Production Operator remote is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Ability to operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience with SAP or similar production management software.
• Forklift certification.
• Knowledge of food safety standards.
