About the Role

We are seeking a Senior UX Designer to join our innovative team at NHS Education for Scotland (NES). This Senior UX Designer remote position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the transformation of health and care services across Scotland. As a Senior UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in designing user-centered digital services that enhance the experience for users across various platforms.

What You'll Do

• Lead the design process for public-facing digital services, ensuring a user-centered approach throughout.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including business analysts, developers, and service owners, to create intuitive and accessible interfaces.
• Conduct usability studies and workshops to gather user feedback and iterate on designs.
• Utilize design systems effectively to maintain consistency across products.
• Visualize complex problems and propose innovative design solutions that meet user needs.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a UX designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing websites and mobile applications.
• Proficiency in UX design techniques and user interface principles.
• Experience leading workshops and usability studies.
• Ability to communicate design outputs clearly and effectively.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
