Senior UX Designer - Remote Opportunity at Activate Interactive

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior UX Designer to join Activate Interactive, a leading technology consultancy. This remote UX Designer role allows you to contribute to impactful projects while working from anywhere. As a Senior UX Designer, you will define user flows, conduct user research, and create high-fidelity designs for our products.

What You'll Do

• Define user flows in the form of wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for ESTL products.
• Conduct user research to understand the needs and challenges to make informed design decisions.
• Organise user testing sessions to validate designs and gather valuable insights.
• Contribute to and make use of our evolving design system to ensure consistency and scalability across ESTL products.
• Manage stakeholder requirements and incorporate them into the product design.
• Create and provide design specifications and assets to ensure accurate implementation of designs by development teams.
• Facilitate kick-off workshops to define objectives, gather requirements, and align on business perspectives.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your contributions to successful product launches.
• Experience in building digital products with end-to-end delivery involvement, including facilitating workshops, gathering requirements, usability testing, envisioning flows, and delivering high-fidelity screens.
• Excellent communication skills to justify design rationale to stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineers, business analysts, and product owners to deliver and evolve features.
• Strong problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Maze, and Dovetail.
• Experience in using design systems to ensure scalability, efficiency, and consistency.
• A strong design portfolio that demonstrates your experience and commitment to using technology for public good.

• Experience in working on projects for government agencies.

• Knowledge of accessibility standards in design.
