Senior Security Operations Specialist - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Security Operations Specialist to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the consistent and high-quality delivery of physical security operations across our portfolio of data centers worldwide. You will work closely with on-site managers to ensure compliance with corporate standards and customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

What You'll Do

• Act as the primary security subject matter expert for all physical security operations across the estate.
• Translate corporate security policies into practical, repeatable operational procedures for on-site managers.
• Provide expert guidance to data center site managers on security delivery, ensuring tasks are executed in a standardized manner.
• Drive the consistent application of corporate security policies across all data center locations.
• Monitor compliance and work with management to address any procedural gaps.
• Ensure that all physical security operations meet or exceed customer SLAs.
• Serve as the primary operational point of contact for all physical security incidents and coordinate the initial response.
• Conduct regular security audits and assessments to verify compliance with operational procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in managing physical security operations, preferably in a multi-site environment.
• Experience in data center or critical infrastructure sectors is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to drive operational excellence across geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong influence and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex policies into clear directives.
• A proactive and systematic approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Deep understanding of customer service aspects of security and the importance of meeting service levels.
• Willingness to travel internationally to support data center sites as needed.

• Professional security certifications focused on operational management (e.g., Certified Protection Professional - CPP).
