About the Role

We're hiring an Associate Director Product Master to join our team at Johnson & Johnson. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to lead the mastering of product-related data across the pharmaceutical landscape. As an Associate Director Product Master, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring that product master data is trusted, harmonized, and semantically consistent across the entire R&D to Commercial continuum.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive data management strategy covering the full product lifecycle, from discovery through commercialization and loss of exclusivity.
  • Ensure a single, authoritative source of truth through stewardship of all product-related master data, harmonized across functions and systems.
  • Identify gaps, redundancies, and opportunities for automation, external data partnerships, and standards alignment.
  • Establish stewardship and governance models for product master data across R&D, Supply Chain, and Commercial.
  • Define and enforce standards for product hierarchies and data model extensions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product master data is discoverable, connected, and reusable across the enterprise.
  • Monitor dashboard and track KPIs for product master data quality, timeliness, and traceability across the lifecycle.
  • Communicate the vision, progress, and value realization of product mastering to senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master’s in life sciences, regulatory sciences, informatics, data science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in pharma/biotech R&D or commercial functions, with significant exposure to product lifecycle and regulatory data.
  • Demonstrated expertise in master data management, data governance, and data stewardship.
  • Knowledge of ontology development and knowledge graph applications.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to influence and drive adoption of product mastering practices across functions.
