Senior Test Engineer - Embedded Software Testing

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join our team at JPS Tech Solutions. This Senior Test Engineer remote position focuses on embedded software testing, where you will validate the Client’s Digital systems using simulation and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments. You will ensure high-quality deliverables for the Connectivity division.

What You'll Do

• Lead and execute end-to-end telematics testing using simulation and HIL setups.
• Perform software verification, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis across software and electronics.
• Drive release testing, defect resolution, and field issue investigations.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks.
• Provide technical guidance on verification and validation best practices.
• Collaborate with global teams across development, systems, and hardware groups.
• Apply deep knowledge of NPI processes to support product releases.
• Utilize vendor and internal tools effectively to improve test coverage and efficiency.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software, systems, or telematics testing.
• Strong experience with HIL, simulation-based testing, and connectivity systems.
• Solid background in test automation and release validation.
• Proven ability to independently manage work while mentoring junior engineers.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud-based testing environments.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools.
