Production Manager - Eye Health Manufacturing

About the Role

We are seeking a Production Manager to join our team at Bausch + Lomb, a leading global eye health company. This Production Manager remote position involves overseeing manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency and quality in production. You will play a crucial role in managing our FILM production and introducing new technologies while leading a dedicated team.

What You'll Do

• Manage FILM production and the introduction of new technology through effective team leadership.
• Conduct Standard Work for managers and monitor standard work for OSS/Team Leads and operators.
• Train and participate in workplace innovation, aligning with the tier management system.
• Oversee production activities including PPI, yields, downtime, quality metrics, and resource utilization.
• Initiate changes to work practices and procedures to enhance operational performance.
• Promote a quality culture and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including FDA and cGMP.
• Conduct performance appraisals for operators and implement appropriate training and development plans.
• Establish and maintain high standards in relation to Environmental Health & Safety work practices.

Requirements

• 3rd level qualification, preferably in a technical discipline.
• Previous supervisory management experience in a manufacturing environment complying with FDA and cGMP requirements.
• Advanced leadership skills to motivate and build a strong process team.
• Knowledge of FILM operations is desirable.
• A successful track record in managing conflict resolution.
