About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter remote to join our dynamic team at Scion Staffing. This Senior Technical Recruiter remote position is an exciting opportunity to continue your career in the staffing and recruiting industry with a focus on sourcing and filling technical positions.

What You'll Do

  • Jump into immediate needs placing awesome technical talent for our clients!
  • Manage multiple job openings effectively and efficiently.
  • Apply existing applicant tracking system experience (Bullhorn experience a plus but not required) and build a steady recruiting pipeline.
  • Interface confidently and professionally with clients.
  • Instill confidence "speaking tech" to potential and existing clients.
  • Write up personalized and effective job descriptions, sanitized for agency posting without client exposure.
  • Create thorough written candidate presentations for client review.
  • Effectively source and search via job boards and search agents for candidates.
  • HUNT off the job boards via networking events, LinkedIn, social media, career fairs, university recruiting, etc.
  • Collaborate well with teammates and add to the overall growth and expertise of the team.
  • Evaluate skill level of candidates, interview candidates, coordinate candidate and client interviews, manage offer process, conduct reference checks and background checks, and make salary recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of successful experience as a Technical or IT Recruiter with experience recruiting from a staffing agency.
  • Proven track record of making successful placements and working in a fast-paced environment!
  • Strong aptitude for IT, continued interest in IT recruiting, and able to understand the IT language.
  • Experience recruiting for tech positions such as Software Engineers, IT roles, Full Stack Engineers, Front or Backend Engineers, DevOps, etc.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Word.
  • Excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail, and works with a sense of urgency.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with coding languages; Python, C++, etc.
  • Experience with Bullhorn or similar ATS.
  • Ability to work closely with partnerships/sales team who bring in job orders for our recruiting team to fill.

  • Experience Technical Recruiters make an additional $50,000 - $90,000+ in commissions, bringing their total compensation to over $115,000 - $165,000+!
