Senior Technical Product Manager - Healthcare EMR

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to join our team in the healthcare sector. This fully remote role allows you to work from anywhere in Australia, with a competitive salary range of $130K to $150K plus superannuation. As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of healthcare technology, particularly in developing our new clinical and electronic medical record (EMR) products.

What You'll Do

• Lead the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for clinical software initiatives.
• Initiate and oversee the development of a new Electronic Medical Record (EMR) product.
• Conduct comprehensive business analysis to define requirements for EMR development.
• Collaborate closely with the CTO to envision and define product functionalities.
• Work with the in-house UX designer to translate product visions into designs and prototypes.
• Ensure product interoperability through knowledge and application of healthcare standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
• Drive stakeholder engagement by gathering and synthesizing clinical and operational requirements.
• Manage the clinical components of products, including medications, observations, and anaesthetic records.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in technical product management or project lead.
• Experience in the healthcare sector is essential.
• Demonstrated experience in building or project managing EMR systems is highly regarded.
• Technical expertise with the ability to code.
• The ability to work independently and thrive in a 100% remote work environment.
• Strong engagement and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with project management tools like Jira or Trello.
• Knowledge of user experience design principles.
