Senior Systems Security Engineer - Remote

About the Role

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Systems Security Engineer to join our innovative team. This role is pivotal in driving security engineering principles into the design and integration of our advanced technologies. As a Senior Systems Security Engineer remote, you will help secure our suite of products, which includes artificial intelligence systems, command and control platforms, and aerospace vehicles.

What You'll Do

• Own security end-to-end for assigned products—derive and decompose security requirements from customer needs and threat intelligence, design security architectures, and manage security through the full product lifecycle.
• Implement security features and capabilities, develop and execute comprehensive security test strategies at multiple integration levels, and support major milestone deliveries.
• Brief security architectures and approaches to government customers and program leadership, translating complex security concepts for diverse audiences.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to meet and exceed industry-standard security goals.
• Work cross-functionally with security assessment teams to uncover potential weaknesses in Anduril’s products.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in systems security engineering or related fields, with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/work experience.
• Proven ability to lead a team to solve complex security engineering challenges.
• Experience in Systems Security Engineering, Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Familiarity with security-relevant features on embedded hardware / FPGAs.
• Strong understanding of security architecture for defense or national security systems.

Nice to Have

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Rust, Go, or C/C++.
• Experience with security testing on DoD systems, including penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Fluency in modern USG cyber methodologies and related policy.
