Senior Systems Engineer - Workday Integrations (Remote)

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Systems Engineer - Workday Integrations to join our dynamic team at Yelp. This fully remote position allows you to work from anywhere in Canada, contributing to our mission of enhancing employee experiences through innovative technology solutions. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to design, build, and maintain complex Workday integrations that empower our workforce.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain complex Workday integrations using Studio, Orchestrate, EIBs, Core Connectors, and related tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring secure and timely data delivery to vendors and internal systems.
• Maintain and enhance integrations leveraging XSLT, XML, and web services (SOAP/REST).
• Serve as a technical subject matter expert, collaborating cross-functionally to implement and optimize business processes.
• Act as a functional lead in a major Workday area, configuring processes and advanced calculations.
• Gather and translate business requirements, supporting key cycles such as Comp Review, Benefits Open Enrollment, and Payroll Year-End.
• Deliver advanced Workday analytics through reports, dashboards, and BIRT outputs.

Requirements

• Several years of hands-on Workday experience, with a strong focus on integrations.
• Expertise with Workday Studio and Orchestrate.
• Proven experience configuring or leading in at least one core Workday functional area.
• Strong proficiency in XSLT, XML, and web services (SOAP/REST).
• Excellent analytical and communication abilities, translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.

• Experience with advanced Workday analytics.
• Familiarity with HR processes and systems.
• Knowledge of payroll systems integration.
