Senior Systems Administrator & Client Relationship Lead - Remote
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Systems Administrator & Client Relationship Lead to join our team at Solvo Global. This remote position is perfect for someone with over 10 years of experience in IT support and systems administration. You will be the trusted technical authority for a portfolio of sophisticated clients, ensuring their technical environments are managed effectively while enhancing their day-to-day experience.
What You'll Do
- Own deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of security tools.
- Provide Tier 2–3 support across macOS, networks, Google Workspace, and SaaS platforms.
- Independently troubleshoot incidents with clear, client-readable documentation.
- Lead technical projects including migrations, security rollouts, and network upgrades.
- Automate workflows to reduce repetitive manual work.
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement long-term fixes.
- Support monitoring, patching, CVE remediation, and incident response.
- Evaluate and introduce new platforms to the technology stack.
- Conduct system updates, backups, and security audits.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, and security projects.
- Strong macOS / Apple environment experience.
- Google Workspace administration for distributed teams.
- Hands-on cybersecurity experience with Zero-Trust / SaaS security tools.
- Solid networking fundamentals including VPNs, firewalls, and routing.
- Experience with MDM tools such as Jamf or Intune.
- Proven experience leading security or SaaS implementations end-to-end.
- Experience as the primary point of contact for client accounts.
- Ability to explain technical issues in clear, non-technical language.
- Strong client satisfaction, ownership mindset, and relationship management skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with incident response and security audits.
- Familiarity with advanced troubleshooting techniques.
- Certifications in relevant IT fields (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP).
