Senior Java Developer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team at KYYBA Inc. This remote Senior Java Developer position offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects in the healthcare industry while collaborating with a talented team. You will be responsible for designing, coding, and supporting complex software applications using Java and related technologies.

What You'll Do

• Analyze, design, develop, and implement software solutions utilizing Java, J2EE, JavaScript, Spring, Hibernate, and MySQL.
• Participate in requirements gathering and documentation to ensure clarity and alignment with business objectives.
• Define and design application tiers, implementing systems frameworks for security validation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance code delivery quality and consistency.
• Lead development efforts, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 5-10 years of experience in enterprise Java development.
• Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical staff.
• Hands-on experience with JUnit and knowledge of scheduling tools.
• Ability to read and write shell scripts and experience with source control systems.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the healthcare domain.
• Familiarity with UNIX and Shell Scripting.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages such as JavaScript and SQL.
