Senior System Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior System Engineer to join our team remotely. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a leading company in Italy that has been supporting medium and large enterprises for over 25 years. As a Senior System Engineer, you will be part of a multifunctional team responsible for managing operational tasks on Microsoft platforms, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.

What You'll Do

• Implement and manage Microsoft infrastructures in on-prem, hybrid, and cloud environments.
• Administer Microsoft Azure services including Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage, and Backup.
• Manage Microsoft 365 environments such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and Entra ID.
• Configure and maintain Identity & Access Management solutions, including Microsoft Entra ID, MFA, and Conditional Access.
• Implement security and compliance solutions using Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Purview.
• Support migration projects to Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity.
• Analyze and resolve complex infrastructure issues (Level 2 support).

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience managing Microsoft on-premises and/or cloud infrastructures.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Identity & Access Management.
• Experience with Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to interface with clients and team members.
• Proactive problem-solving approach to anticipate and resolve issues promptly.
• Attention to detail and adherence to deadlines, ensuring precise execution of tasks.
• Result-oriented mindset, focusing on quality service delivery and client needs.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Microsoft Defender and compliance solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud migration strategies.
• Certifications in Microsoft technologies.
