Senior Strategic Buyer - Hybrid Role at Loop Earplugs

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Strategic Buyer to join our team at Loop Earplugs. This hybrid role allows you to work from either Antwerp or Amsterdam, and is crucial for our mission to reinvent how people experience the world. As a Senior Strategic Buyer remote, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our product roadmap and overall business strategy.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute regional sourcing strategies, including APAC supplier networks.
• Drive dual sourcing and regional diversification to strengthen supply continuity.
• Own supplier selection, onboarding, and performance management across Quality, Cost, and Delivery.
• Structure long-term commercial agreements within assigned categories.
• Support industrialization and ensure production readiness ahead of ramp-up.

Requirements

• 7+ years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or manufacturing buying.
• Strong expertise in plastics, silicones, soft goods, packaging, or consumer goods.
• Proven track record leading RFQs and delivering structural cost reduction.
• Advanced cost modeling capability including should costing, tooling amortization, MOQ strategy, and landed cost optimization.
• Experience working with APAC suppliers and regional sourcing strategies.
• Familiarity with DFM alignment and mass production ramp-up.

Nice to Have

• Experience in consumer electronics or innovative product development.
• Knowledge of sustainability practices in sourcing.
• Fluency in multiple languages, particularly Dutch or French.
