Senior/​Staff Web Engineer - AI-Driven FinTech Platform

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior/Staff Web Engineer remote to join our innovative team at Finary. In this role, you will build and ship features used by over 850,000 users on our web platform, leveraging modern technologies like React and Next.js in an AI-native engineering environment.

What You'll Do

• Build and ship delightful features end-to-end on Finary’s web platform.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and technical direction, shaping how we build.
• Collaborate closely with backend engineers to define API contracts and communication patterns.
• Partner with product managers and designers to turn product vision into polished, high-quality experiences.
• Leverage AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) to multiply your output, enhancing productivity.
• Raise the bar on code quality, developer experience, and engineering practices.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in modern JavaScript/TypeScript; Next.js experience is a plus.
• Solid understanding of backend systems and computer science fundamentals.
• Experience as an AI pioneer, actively using AI tools to enhance productivity.
• Senior or Staff level experience, contributing to architecture and mentoring peers.
• Demonstrated radical ownership of outcomes and the ability to move fast.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Nice to Have

• Experience in fintech or personal finance.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
