About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer - Life Sciences Commercial Infrastructure to join our innovative team at a fast-growing healthtech company. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely while redefining how life sciences organizations commercialize their products. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building the commercial engine that empowers pharmaceutical marketers to automate compliant, reference-backed marketing at scale, replacing slow, manual workflows with AI-powered systems.

What You'll Do

• Embed with major pharma and agency partners to deploy the platform into real-world marketing workflows.
• Lead enterprise integrations across tools such as Veeva Promomats, Adobe, Figma, and internal DAM systems.
• Design and customize AI-powered compliance workflows to meet brand-specific regulatory requirements.
• Deploy and optimize LLM and RAG-based agents in production environments.
• Extend backend services and manage infrastructure across FastAPI, Celery, Redis, and AWS.
• Build scalable data pipelines across PDFs, OCR, embeddings, and metadata enrichment.
• Translate frontline customer feedback into product improvements and repeatable platform features.
• Work directly with the co-founders on product strategy, technical direction, and customer expansion.

Requirements

• Strong engineering background with experience deploying enterprise-grade systems.
• High proficiency in Python, FastAPI, Docker, and AWS.
• Experience building or experimenting with LLM-driven systems, RAG pipelines, or agent-based workflows.
• Customer-oriented builder who cares about production impact, not just shipping code.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity with high ownership and intensity.
• Strong communicator who can work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Motivated by fast iteration, high standards, and startup pace.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the life sciences or healthcare industry.
• Familiarity with compliance regulations in pharmaceutical marketing.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks.
