Senior Software Engineer - FinTech Remote Opportunity

What You'll Do

• Engage in hands-on coding to solve complex problems with a focus on defensive programming, resilience, and performance.
• Own the technical solution design for significant product features and software modules.
• Demonstrate self-guided problem-solving abilities to create robust technical solutions for ambiguous business requirements.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, product managers, UX designers, and mobile developers to build new features.
• Write unit and integration tests alongside production code to ensure reliable and scalable features.
• Take ownership of your code from inception to deployment into production, following a continuous delivery model.
• Support, coach, and mentor other team members, setting high standards and continually improving processes.
• Stay abreast of and apply the latest emerging technologies.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience in an industrial setting.
• Experience developing software in one or more programming languages from the list (Python, Java, C#, Go).
• Experience with data structures or algorithms.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and good problem-solving skills.
• Experience with UI/UX design principles.

Nice to Have

• Proficiency in Python with experience in asynchronous frameworks (aiohttp, fastapi, etc).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
• Experience with RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Experience with Flutter/Dart.
